VALC NIGHT VISIT

In a momentous prelude to its official launch, the Veterinary Advance Learning Centre (VALC) welcomed an esteemed delegation on the night of April 11, 2023. The event, aptly named the VALC Night Visit, was a unique opportunity for our CEO, Dr. Koh Choo Yan, and COO, Dr. Mohd Hafizie bin Mahadi, to showcase the state-of-the-art facilities to two distinguished guests – the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at University Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Dr. Mohd Farhan Hanif, and the former Dean, Professor Dr. Mohd Azam Khan bin Goriman Khan.

As the VALC Night Visit unfolded, it became apparent that this gathering was more than a mere exploration of cutting-edge infrastructure. It was a celebration of the partnership between VALC and UMK, representing the pioneering collaboration between a private entity and a government institution in the field of veterinary education.

Dr. Koh Choo Yan and Dr. Mohd Hafizie bin Mahadi took the role of gracious hosts, guiding the distinguished guests through the meticulously designed learning spaces, research facilities, and collaborative hubs that define VALC.

The personalized tour was not only an introduction to the advanced technology at the center but also an opportunity to discuss the shared vision and goals of this transformative partnership.

The presence of Dr. Mohd Farhan Hanif and Professor Dr. Mohd Azam Khan bin Goriman Khan at the VALC Night Visit signified UMK’s commitment to academic excellence and its pivotal role in this historic collaboration. As representatives of the school, the two deans were invited to witness firsthand the culmination of UMK’s largest Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VALC.

The night was filled with engaging conversations, as the deans explored the potential avenues for collaboration, joint research initiatives, and the exchange of knowledge that this partnership promises. The VALC Night Visit was not just an event; it was a meeting of minds, bridging the gap between academia and industry for the advancement of veterinary education.
